Deleting your Thoughts account

You can do this yourself, from inside the app, without asking anyone:

• Open Thoughts.
• Tap your picture in the top-right corner to open Account.
• Tap Delete account at the bottom of the page.
• Confirm, and sign in once more to prove it's you.

It is also on the subscription screen, so you can delete an account without subscribing first.

What gets deleted

Everything: your journal pages, your to-dos, your lists, and the account itself. It is deleted straight away, not flagged for later, and no copy is kept. There is no undo.

What does not

Your subscription. Apple or Google bills it, not us, so deleting your account cannot cancel it. Cancel it yourself (on iPhone in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, on Android in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions), or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.

If you can't get into the app

Write to hello@playpenstudios.in from the email address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. You'll get confirmation once it's done.
