Thoughts
A journal that sorts out your to-dos.
You get one page for each day. Write on it, talk to it, or photograph a handwritten note onto it, without bothering with headings or lists. When you're done, one button reads the page, picks out what you actually need to do, and adds each item to the right list.
Three ways to add to a page
- Talk. Hold the microphone and speak. What you say is transcribed onto today's page, and it works from anywhere in the app, so a thought that turns up while you're looking at something else still ends up on the page.
- Type. One page a day, as plain as a notebook.
- Photograph. Point the camera at a handwritten note or a whiteboard. It reads the layout as well as the words, such as what's written under what and where an arrow points, and turns it into notes. You check the text against the photo before any of it goes onto your page.
Then it files itself
When you process a page, anything that's a task becomes a to-do and goes into a list it recognises, or a new one. It won't add something you've already written down, and if the page says you've finished something, that item is archived instead of left to nag you.
Price and your data
Thoughts needs an account so your journal is on all your devices, and a subscription after the free trial. We don't sell your journal, use it for advertising, or read it. Voice notes and photos are sent off to be read and aren't kept afterwards. The privacy policy and the terms of use have the details, and you can delete your account from inside the app at any time.
