Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Playpen Studios for your use of Blocktide, our block puzzle game for iPhone, iPad and Android. By playing, you accept them. If you're under the age of majority where you live, please read them with a parent or guardian.

The game is free

Blocktide is free to download and play, with nothing to buy inside it. There's no account to create. A future version may show ads; if it does, the privacy policy will say so first.

Your progress

Scores, streaks and settings are stored on your device. Deleting the app, or using Settings › Reset all progress, removes them, and we can't bring them back because we never had a copy.

Leaderboards and achievements

Leaderboards and achievements run on Apple Game Center and Google Play Games. Signing in is optional. When you do, those services' own terms apply to your player profile and to what other players can see. Please play fairly: we may remove scores that were clearly not earned by playing, for example by modifying the app.

Fair use

Use Blocktide for your own personal play. Don't copy, resell or redistribute it, don't try to break into it or interfere with how it works, and don't use it to break the law.

What's ours

The game, its design, artwork, sounds and the Blocktide name belong to Playpen Studios. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to install and play it; they don't give you any other rights in it.

Availability

We work to keep Blocktide running well, but it's provided "as is", without a promise that it will always be available, free of bugs, or the same from one version to the next. We may change or stop offering features, and we may update these terms. If we do, the new version is posted on this page with a new date.

Liability

Blocktide is free, so to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss connected with using it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Apple and Google

Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the game or its content.

Apple is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the game or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
